In the age of online and social media journalism, audiences can be as much a part of the story as the writers. So here, we take a moment to reflect on the ways that people contribute, through comments, or the use of imagery and other media. How do people read stories online, thus leading them to respond in a variety of ways? How might we better understand the ways they type or provide photographs as ‘evidence’?
